Privacy Policy
Strada Performance respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, book service, place an order, or contact the shop, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1.Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us directly — through booking forms, intake and inquiry forms, the questions form, newsletter signup, order checkout, and mail-in tracking submissions. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, motorcycle year/make/model, service and modification details, shipping information, and any notes or messages you send us.
We also record limited technical information automatically when a form is submitted, such as the IP address, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. This is used to prevent spam, keep records of service agreements, and understand where our customers are coming from.
2.How We Use Your Information
We use your information to schedule and perform work, prepare estimates and work orders, process orders and shipments, collect payment and deposits, send appointment confirmations, reminders, tracking requests, and post-service feedback requests, answer your questions, and keep required business records.
We do not sell your personal information.
3.Payments
Payments and deposits are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never stored on our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited billing details such as the amount, status, and the email used at checkout.
4.Email, SMS And Scheduling Services
We use Google services (Gmail and Google Calendar) to send and receive email and manage appointment bookings, and Google Sheets to keep internal records of bookings, orders, inquiries, and reviews. Text message reminders, where you provide a mobile number and opt in, are sent through Twilio. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
If you opt in to text messages, message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by contacting the shop.
5.Cookies And Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage — for example which pages are viewed and roughly how visitors found us. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually. The site also uses your browser's local storage to remember simple preferences, such as a disclaimer acknowledgment, so you are not asked repeatedly.
You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings; some site features may behave differently if you do.
6.When We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the shop — payment processing, email and calendar, scheduling, spreadsheet record-keeping, and text messaging — and where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
7.Retention
We keep booking, work order, order, and payment records for as long as needed to operate the business and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Marketing email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. You may request deletion of inquiry records that are not tied to a completed transaction.
8.Your Choices And Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law.
To make a request, contact the shop through the contact page or call (619) 361-1564. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9.Security
We use industry-standard tools and access controls to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
11.Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
